If I unlock my TMobile Blackberry Curve 8320, will I still need the data service from Tmobile to access the internet? I'm realtively new to this and wondered what the benefits were to unlocking my device besides international travel and resale perks?

Unlocking the phone only allows you to use another carriers SIM card in the phone.
