Unlock code?

Can someone please provide me with an unlock code for my Blackberry Curve?

To what carrier is it branded?

I believe the model number is :8530, its with the Rogers Network.

If it's with Rogers, then it cannot be an 8530. That's a CDMA only model.

If it is indeed with Rogers, then you need to contact one of the unlocking vendors or enter a contest to win a code.

You will need to know the actual model number.

He must be talking about the Rogers 8520.

If it's a rogers device then it can't be a 8530 Blackberry.
The 8530 Blackberry is a CDMA only device without a SIM card.

Rogers is a GSM carrier, they only have GSM devices like the 8520 which i think can be the device you are trying to unlock.

You can remove the battery of your Blackberry, then for a sticker which is found there... the model number should be there also with your IMEI number, you will need this info to use any unlocking service to unlock your Blackberry from rogers.

If it's a Blackberry 8520 from rogers it can be unlocked easily by using a remote unlocking service online for blackberry unlocking by carrier and IMEI.
