Default UMA Orange UK Unbranded

Hi,
Anyone know a way of enabling UMA on an unbranded phone?
I heard there was a way through the engineering screen, but haven't found much information on that.
Otherwise would also be willing to change the firmware if thats possible, to orange one.
Really need UMA as im often (and currently) abroad where there isn't always blackberry service.

Thanks.

Ok, figured it out. Turns out it is possible without a firmware update, just through the engineering screen.

A good tutorial is here for orange UK. Other networks will have different settings.

To get to the engineering screen you need to find a website that uses eScreen Keygenerator. found one here, but they usually go down quickly.
Find Blackberry MEP code through hidden Engineering Screen | Unlock-BlackBerry.com

Hope this helps someone anyway.

I would not play around with the engineering screen. Can cause many issues with your device.

Well, playing with just the UMA. Was important enough for me that was worth the risk as my phone was virtually useless at the time without it
worked well anyway, just a problem with it dropping, but i hear thats due to multiband (B + G) router. So will test it on my home router once i'm back and see if it works properly.

Changing OS probably help you do it, but you should pose your question in another forum since this isn't a unlocking question.
