1) Can someone provide me with some reputable sites where I can buy unlock codes for my Bold 9700?

2) If I update the OS firmware will it break the unlock?

1) Call your carrier and get the code for free

2) No, once a device is unlocked... it stays unlocked

We can unlock it for you. Once unlocked always unlocked.
