Sprint Unlock and Metro PCS

So I'm guessing that a T-Mobile 9700 can't be transferred to MetroPCS and function the same. I know this thread is sort of old but can someone clear this up?

For the record I live in Northern California. I don't know if that makes a difference but it's far enough from the ATL/FL area that it might.

Not possible You can get a 9630, 9650 to work on Metro but you will not be able to use all natives apps like email/bbm.

We suggest you get a the Blackberry from Metro or switch carrier if you really want to use a 9700

Hey, I just wanted to jump in here. I have flashed many verizon phones to metropcs with no problems. ANY CDMA PHONE CAN BE REPROGRAMMED TO WORK ON ANY CDMA CARRIER....SPRINT...VERIZON....ALLTEL.....METROPCS ...WHATEVER!!!

You can't 9300 is a GSM phone and MetroPcs is CDMA only (no sim cards)
