I've got the unlocking code for my 9860 but when I turned it on with a SIM card from a different carrier, the instructions says it suppose to ask me for an unlock code, but instead I've got a Blackberry ID sign-in screen, is there anyway to bypass this screen?
I'm giving this BB to someone else and her SIM doesn't have data coverage. But even if she does, I don't want my BB ID to be on her phone anyway.
Please help me to get around this blackberry ID screen. Thanks

Reload the OS of the device and then you can just hit end button and it should go past the screen.

put in your sim card and go to advanced options type in mepd , then mepe holding alt then unlock screen should pop up .. u have os7 its different .
