mep2 box not working bb9700

i got bb9700 from usa t-mobile and got the unlock code mep2 &mep3 4m the net
when i inter the sim card and go to thr option and type (MEPD)
ALL i see is disabled i meen every thuing ,some ppl sed to me its unlocked but it says (insert sim card)????
i tryd to type mep2 mepp2 mep3....nothing hapend
i upgrade to os6 ....same problem no mep2 box
i dwngrade to os5..same...
no i am in uae and is nothing i can do 4 it

It is unlocked. Sounds like you have a bad sim

trying taking batter and sim out for 5-10 minutes and try again, and as stated you may have a bad sim or sim card slot is loose

When you type mepd , what do you see beside network and service provider ???

hi everybody,
for bb tour 9630,i tried mep2 wrongly 1 time now it shows sim disabled network blocked ,
not able to put any gsm card and not able to type any mep2 code further

Needs to be unlocked via cable

The only way is to unlock it through cable, contact your nearby shop.

It it shows all disabled then it's unlocked device. if it's asking for a SIM card try to use another SIM card from another carrier, if the problem stays the same then it can also be a hardware problem with your sim slot.
