" Press and Hold the ALT key and type the letters "mepe" (without the quotes, you will not see anything on the screen when typing)
(If the ALT key is not showing on your keyboard hold down the 123 key it will switch to the numeric keyboard with the ALT locked down)"
If i press and hold the 123 key yes ALT appears but then its all numbers, how can i enter mepe?
Unlock Blackberry 9850 BlackberryCodeSource
If you're not having luck entering it that way, then do this instead.
Turn the phone on with a simcard from a different network and it will ask for the (mep code)unlock code.

Re: >> How to Unlock BlackBerry Torch 9850 9860 Unlock Code entry instructions <<
I just completed an unlock code order for my 9860. It's been almost 30 minutes and I haven't received any email for the order.
Update... James, many thanks for your prompt service! I was tied up all day and just got around to unlocking my phone. Worked like a charm
jelpesao over at the 9860/9850 forums has a post on how to get around the lack of an ALT key on the 9860. With that and your instructions at the start of this thread, I was able to unlock my phone without an alternate carrier's sim.

Hey Muhammad Munir Rahman,
Make sure you have a blackberry data plan and also call your network and get them to push their blackberry service books(blackberry settings) to your phone
(if they can't do it you can install them manually, check the forums for info on how to do it)
