When you follow the Advanced System Settings > SIM Card you get a screen "Identity and Associations" starts with just ID and Phone numbers. Entering mepd + enter changes this to show "Personalization" and the five lines
I had to then use
ALT-MEPE (i.e. .2@2)
to get the unlock prompt and the code was accepted.
(Now my Network shows "inactive" which means unlocked)

this is my very first time in threads, so be patient with me .
i would like to know if you can give me the network unlocking codes for the BB 9360 or provide any alternative for the "no service" message in the network section.

I unlocked my blackberry curve 8520, which was my sons from Rogers, my bb curve 9300 wasn't working - getting signal, so changed
simcard, still nothing, so got an unlock code from freemyblack berry, which didn't work as they said bell doesn't have HSPA technology, and
this is what they emailed back to me:
GSM ONLY BlackBerrys (8900, 8310, 8520, etc): These BlackBerrys will only work with GSM networks after being unlocked. Canadians
and Americans beware: Not all carriers are GSM carriers. Your phone will NOT work with non-GSM carriers.
Note for Canadians: Rogers, Fido, and Chatr are the only GSM carriers in Canada.
So your saying it can be unlocked, but I'm not interested in paying yet another company that cant actually do it. Do you have a return money
policy if it doesn't work?
