Help, trying to unlock my blackberry 8520

Hello all! First time on the forum the name's Chris!

So I bought a blackberry 8520 and repaired the damaged LCD after being told it was on O2 only to find out now it's on Orange and my O2 simcard does not work.

I've go to the MEPD settings on the screen and it says that everything is disabled.
(SIM, Network,Network subset, Services Provider, Corporate)

I after reading loadssss of tutorials I can see that is one of these say disabled then it's unlocked but what happens when all are "disabled?"

Also... when I try to type in "MEP2" nothing comes up allowing me to enter the code... I've tried caps, no caps etc etc...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Hey Chris!
The phone is unlocked.
I think that the O2 Sim Card is the problem. Try a different one, it should work.
The phone should work with any Sim Card.

Many thanks... sorry I should have posted my findings... I found this was the issue

The SIM was faulty. All other SIMs worked.
