Default Help! 2 Attemps left to unlock Torch

I have 2 unlock attempts left to get this right, so I don't want to make any mistakes. I have a Torch 9800 locked to Bell's network in Canada. I was given two unlock codes from an online company. First was NCK code (8-digits long). The other was SP code (16 digits long).

Which code should I use and the safest method/procedure to enter code?

    Thanks

2 tries left, 2 codes. Looks like you are OK. If you only had one try left, and 2 codes......

Why are you panicking when you have 2 codes and 2 attempts left? Try one and if it the code doesn't work try the other.

I would imagine because he used up 8 tries with the codes already. I could be wrong though.

I am trying to unlock this phone for my niece. Got the phone with 4 tries left. Did not insert SIM card on my 1st attempt with unlock code, that failed. I used the 16 digit code on 2nd attempt, that also failed. Now I'm down to 2 left and I am questioning if the procedure I'm following is the correct one. Can someone help to point me in the right direction.

Go to your local mall and pay someone to do it for you. From what I've read BBs have something like 10000 attempts. Don't understand why you are down to 2 tries.

Sounds like you may have the wrong code. Contact the company you bought the code from and see if they can assist you.

Most, if not all Blackberrys have 10 attempts to unlock the phone before it is bricked. It's possible I was given the wrong unlock codes. Since it is not my phone I am not willing to risk future attempts where the outcome can break the heart of a 13 year old.

FreeThisBerry.com, I would most grateful if you can confirm my unlock codes are correct. The phone is a BB 9800 with Bell, Canada.

Please edit your post and erase the imei info. . It is against forum rules to post it. That unlock info is correct for a 9800 torch locked to bell .. Are you sure that it is a Bell device. Please google a mep reader or go to: MEP Support - freethisberry.com and get the mep id for your device..and PM us .. The unlocking company you dealt with did infact give your the right code based on the info you provided.

I want to thank everyone for taking the time to add their comments especially FreeThisBerry. Phone was returned to my niece, still locked, with 2 tries to unlock remaining. I no longer feel comfortable trying to unlock her phone.

For your Bell 9800, you only need the NCK code and yes it is 8-digits long
