Default "Code error; Please wait." -> Bold 9000

Hi,
I got the phone from vodafone.
I went to their website, entered the IMEI number and received the unlock code with the instruction how to unlock my BB Bold 9000.
When I followed the instruction, I received an error: "Code error; Please wait"

Does it mean that vodafone gave me a wrong code?
Is there any way I can unlock my phone for free?

They either gave you the incorrect code or you entered in the wrong IMEI.

How many attempts left do you have?

Hi....

The IMEI is correct, since I got the same IMEI results from doing *#06# or from Settings > Status or the label shown at the back of the device after I open the cover.

I tried the unlocked code several time but still plenty of attempts left, still 240+.

Can I post the IMEI and unlock code in this post?

Default Blackberry Bold 9900 - Unlock code

The unlock code is unique and if you didn't typed it right it will give you a code error.
You can use a Blackberry unlocking service to order the unlock code or contact vodafone and ask them to give it to you.

You can get it from any CrackBerry Unlocking Service Provider. If Vodafone gave you a bad unlock code, i think this is your best option right now.
