    Hi ,I got a Bold 9700 from a friend who was trying to unlock this phone.
    It seems that he was unable to get it done (He did it more than 10 times),now when I power up the phone it says that my current sim requires an unlock code.
    From there I get this message "Enter Network MPE code (0 left): "
    Is there any hope for this Bold ?
    I forgot to mention that Its An AT&T Blackberry .
    Can this phone be unlocked still?

    It can but you need to take it to a place that offers dm3 service.
