Anyone successfully unlocked BB 9900 on O2 UK?

I got my 9900 from O2 last Friday, and connected it to the network on Monday. That morning, I emailed O2 via the link on its website for the unlocking code and I received it 8 hours later, FREE OF CHARGE. The no charge policy for Pay Monthly users is clearly stated on the website.

Yes some carriers will give you the unlock codes for free. Always contact them before paying for the code.

I checked the TMN carrier site and it says in the tech specs of the BB9900 :TMN - GSM 900/1800 3G 2100mhz. Is this what you meant?
Will that means it will work 3G TMN one BB bought in the 02 UK?
