Anyone here unlocking WindMobile Canada 9900???

I tried to get unlock codes from WIND MOBILE directly for a business trip coming up in early January 2012. They declined my request because I bought the phone less than 2 weeks ago... (even if I have been a subscriber for 1.5 years).

The sales rep also warned me that no one else would be able to unlock my WIND 9900...

Is this true? As I don't see it being offered as an option on CELLUNLOCK.COM either.
