If you're looking for messages and calendar, Today+ is probably what you want. It will have messages and calendar entries (2 each I believe) and application icons along the bottom. The L theme has application icons along the bottom and up the left side. I don't believe that it has anything else on the home screen. You can always download and install and if it isn't what you want simply delete it.
Of note, the icons are not going to be the Dimension icons.
This is a nice, clean theme.

That's the way Today themes will work from here on out. 5.0's default Today theme works that way and Theme Builder works that way. Took a while to get used to but I like it now.

Hey, just installed the Today+ theme on my Tour and for some reason, my calendar items aren't showing up on the home screen. There are definitely items on my calendar, but nothing on the home screen. I tried a soft reset w/ no luck. Any ideas? Thanks!

Love the L theme. Can you make it with a non-hidden calendar with 4 or 5 entries? I think if you moved the icons down (remove icon name label) then it would fit fine. Been looking for a simple L with non-hidden calendar forever.

try changing the wall paper and you will see that it will be white after a restart...

these themes don't work properly on 5.0

Thanks. I tried downloading the file but it was just a .rar file, which DM doesn't recognize. Looking at the screen shot, that looks just like what I need - but can you move the calendar to the right in order to add another icon on the L? Thanks for trying.

You'll have to un-rar the file first. It holds a folder with the .alx files inside. I'll give it a go at getting another icon in there.
