I think it looks pretty sharp. That lighthouse wallpaper is one I use, too.

Maybe you could try shortening the date to 3-letter format: Sun, Nov 22 or SUN, NOV 22. That might clean it up.

Can you post a screen shot with some notification icons, like new emails, BBM, etc. Can't imagine where they'll go�

Also, on the App Screen, the 3G logo looks like it's a bit lower than the rest on the line.

I like the red background on the App Screen!
