I'm having problems with my bb theme's hidden today. For any theme that runs hidden today, the old text messages show up on the screen even if I deleted them. I've no clue what's going on, is there a way to delete the messages on the homescreen with out going into the sms and mms app???

I've noticed that the ones that stay in mine are my sent messages. which i generally dont delete.

Same here. My today messages are all messages I've sent usually within the last few days. No incoming messages ever appear there. This is item 24 on the list of things that just don't work right on my Tour.
Thinking a few wacks with a hockey stick might straighten that sucker right out.

If you use a 3rd party program (vlingo, qsms, QuickLaunch or ShortcutMe) then Messages sent via those apps will stay in the Today Area. Maybe the new BlackBerry Theme Studio 5.0 will fix this? (doubt it)
