I can look into getting the app name to show up, but last time I considered it I think it would be 'always on.' I prefer if it fades, and early testers agreed that to keep the theme clean, the name should be there if it can't fade out.
And how many programs do you guys need to launch??? You get 13 customizeable on the homescreen, and 3-4 hotkeys (depending on if you use QuickLaunch). That means, from the homescreen, you can launch at least 16 programs!
Also, to address two above posts...
My theme also shows my calendar hidden-today entries (slot 2) when I scroll over to slot 1 (profiles)...that's a bug with plazmic and I could remove the hidden today option for slot 1 which would likely fix the problem, but then there would only be 2 possible hidden today slots. Think of seeing your entries longer as a feature, not a bug
And by design, the wheel rotates a little when returning focus from the left 3 icons. That is due to the programmed animation conflicting with the navigation memory. The navigation memory expects a static icon arrangement but I wanted the last wheel icon selected to be re-focused when going from the 3 left icons to the wheel.
