I found a way to get mine to work -Go to youtube.com in your phones browser go to the bottom of the page click help scroll down to how can I optimize my mobile phone follow steps mine works now didnt work since I had my phone on the 22 of OCT......now it does...
Am I being overly picky or does the video quality just suck in general? It looks horrible. Videos that I know should play in HQ don't, and I have a few "HD" uploads to YouTube that won't even play on my Tour.
These screens are phenomenal, and I know the Tour can play my HD content straight from the phones storage, and really well I might add.

Am I missing something? (and yes I "optimized")
Yeah youtube doesn't work well quality wise on the Tour. Phones like the Palm Pre have something (I can never remember what it is) in the phone's software that allows the youtube quality to be amazing. Unfortunately, we're stuck with blurry videos But hey, the Tour isn't meant to be an amazing multimedia phone, so I can't really complain.
It seems that Youtube is now properly transcoding videos for tours. Optimization may no longer be necessary. However, if you are still having trouble viewing videos, by all means give this a try.
MODs - can you un-sticky this thread now?

scroll to bottom of page.
click "optimize"
click "start optimization"
test 1/7: click "yes" when you see the tiny grey heart
test 2/7: click "yes" when you see the puppy
test 3/7: click "no" when the flash lite video fails
test 4/7: click "click here" when pressing "5" key does squat
test 5/7: there is no test 5 for some reason - skip to test 6/7
test 6/7: click "YES" - the mp4 test video WILL FAIL BUT CLICK "YES" ANYWAY
test 7/7: click "no" - h.263 does not work
