Youtube Playback Error: SOLUTION

It didnt work for me. Video starts then I get error attempting playback message.

No luck for me, gets about 1:15-1:20 into the video and I get a message saying "An error ha occurred attempting to play media"

I tried this today and it told me

" cannot find web address. verify that this web address is valid"

Doesn't work for me!
Then again, nothing is working in the web browser's media player
It stopped when my SIM card was deactivated from the carrier.
Even with an OS upgrade to 5.0, no luck.
I am planning on a factory install with BB Swiss Army Knife. Will keep you posted

Here is an update from my recent post.

I performed a factory reinstall with the latest OS 5 using BB Swiss Army Knife.
I paid my phone bill, and activated my Boost Mobile service.
I tried applying the YouTube optimization settings, and still, nothing.
This must be a joke (they call themselves Research in Motion!)

I found a web site that will probably work for the rest of us. It loads YouTube videos in 3GP format so that you can watch them on your BlackBerry. It's still not perfect (as often the video cuts out), but at least something loads in this case!

Another update to my last post!

I don't know what I did whilst changing the settings, but caused my BB to lose all the apps installed (settings remaining the same), and joila! My video playback is working again in YouTube. Does anybody have anything to add to this? I know a lot of people are still using disfunctional phones.
