In Your Opinion, Whats The Better Phone? Bold or Tour?

Have had huge debates over this, Im a verizon subscriber so i would hope to have the Tour be the clear winner, but i want to hear your reasons why either the tour or bold is better. Aside from the Wi-fi, the Tour seems to have it hands down in my opinion, but keep in mind, i have never owned a blackberry unfortunately, but will by july 12th ;-)

Besides the WiFi the other big thing to consider is AY&T vs. VZW and what works best in your area. One other thing the Bold does better than Tour is that you can use the data and the voice at the same time. The Tour can't do that. It is a problem with the technology that VZW uses. Other than that the Tour is generally better (better camera, better form factor, ... etc.)

tour better screen
tour better camera
tour more application memory
tour smaller form factor

bold wi-fi
bold higher clocked processor seems to only really beat the tour in multi tasking just sightly
bold voice and data at the same time do to being non cdma


really there kind of like brothers..

Thanks for the responses, yah its unfortunate that the VZW carrier lacks Voice and data at the same time! So in your opinion, i am assuming, Tour Wins?

well my take on whats listed is that the tour has a better screen

I'd rather have the Tour. I had a Bold for two weeks and it was just a tiny bit too big for me. Also, without making an argument I have used every carrier in the NY area and wouldn't choose any of them over Verizon.

i thought they were the same screen only the Tours is slightly smaller

It wins for me because I have to have VZW, but it comes down to what you value.

I would agree the bold looks more "masculine" but the tour seems to integrate the bolds masculine look while combining the curves savvy and stylish look, so in my opinion, Tour wins just by being the best of both worlds.

i think its a little dumb to try and debate a phone that hasnt come out yet... so why dont we wait a couple weeks till everyone has there phones then have a debate because we will actually have something to back it up with

keep in mind I already know whats going to happen..

there will be many threads saying how much they love there new phone and its the bestest neatest things evva

then there will be a few people saying my tour broke this phone sucks rim sucks..

others will be like Man this phone blows..

then a flood of HOW to you install leaked os' and how to you clear your phone and reset..

how do you sync

then 4-6 months from now another phone is going to come out and people are going to say im leaving for that phone some of which will end up returning others will proceed to bash the tour and tell us how much they love there new phone..

this is the case in the last 3 phones I have seen come out ;/

Can I agree? In all for me the Tour is the better device ONLY bc I have Verizon with no AT&T coverage near me. But it doesn't mean it is. Its all opinionated and it will never be solved IMO
