Running a 9630 Tour. I have 5 keys that went dead on my keyboard, including a key that is part of my password. My BB is password protected.
Verizon sent me a replacement Tour and I have it activated. It was under the 1 year so no cost to me, but they want me to return the old Tour, which I have no issue with.
My issue is, I cannot wipe the data from my old phone. I do not want to send it back with all my data.
Since the phone is locked and I cannot enter the password, I cannot do anything. Verizon told me to enter the password incorrect 10 times and it would ask me to type in BlackBerry and I could then wipe the phone. Unfortunately C is one of the keys I cannot use. No go. Verizon says nothing else can be done.
Does anyone else have any ideas on how I can wipe my phone before sending back.
