    options>security options>general settings>menu>wipe handheld. Follow instructions

    You can also do a search for JL commander or BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife. They will wipe completely.

    just make sure you have all your stuff backed up !!!
    so it can be loaded onto the new one

    Just do a switch device wizard before you wipe. Move all your info/data from one to the other.

    Sorry for having to ask this, but what is the Desktop Manager? I am on a Mac so currently I am unable to synch with any desktop software. Is this the Windows software that it comes with?
