will the tour have a backlit trackball?

just wondering because it looks like it will be black and a light will not be needed. i personally like having a blue trackball mostly because of how it looks when its lit up. will the ball also be the standard size of WE curve pearl bold etc?

The trackball does not light up. Just a ring of white light that goes around it

Same black trackball as on the 8900 and the Bold. Only a lightaround the edge and it's smaller then the 8300's and the WE.

Yes, the trackball is backlit. There Atomic trackball they have shipped with the Tour is black, so obviously the light will not go through it but bend around it to light up the ring. If you buy a clear, or lighter colored trackball then yes, your trackball will light up like the sky.

One problem.

You have to take the phone apart to change the trackball. Not near as easy as the curve and others with the chrome ring.

It's pretty much the same process if you want access to the trackball...
