Curious about this one for a while. I used to use the Palm Treo and although I did not really care for many things, there was a 3rd party browser you could use that was similar to VLC for your desktop in that it would pretty much play every format (most codecs were covered). It is a bit frustrating to get so many video clips sent to me only to have the unsupported format show up with the BB media player.
Is the lack of the 3rd party one because of a BB restriction?
