Seems faster in general, fixes gps, and i seem to have better reception with improved battery life.
No drastic changes in my case but every little improvement counts. Maybe there are some improvements i havent discovered yet.

Main thing especially for Sprint users is fixed Google Maps. It unfortunately does not fix the bricking of phones when installing apps sometimes.

4.7.1.57 is just a maintenance update. It fixes minor bugs like Google Maps, responsiveness, battery life...etc. 5.0 wil be the major overhaul.

.57 also supposedly helps signal, but I haven't noticed anything different in that department.

Does it work with verizon or was that for sprint tour's only?

It works with verizon but technically isn't out yet so if u install remember to delete the vendor file.

I seem to be getting better signal in my basement at home ( 1-2 bars better) and also seems more stable. Also rarely seen 5 bars on my phone and now see it quite often. Maybe it's just in my head

On TELUS, haven't noticed any changes up from .53 yet. Biggest thing for me with both .53 & .57 is the Bluetooth fix.

The .40 has changed to .57.
Other than that, I've experienced 0 noticable changes.

Only thing I noticed is a reboot is now 6 mins rather than 8-10..

And I spent 2 hrs reloading all my apps.

haha, its not just in your head. i used to get dreaded "x" next to signal in my room, but now at least 1 bar at all times

Um could it be the apps' fault, and not the device?

I've never had a single app "brick" my Tour. 8703e? Another story.

Just noticed that before upgrade after browsing for a long time, my phone would get warm, not hot like many have experienced but definately warm. I have been browsing now with .57 non stop for over an hour and ..... nothing. Much cooler. Has anyone else notice this ?

Everything seems a little snappier like the last upgrade. I am missing the option to do wireless upgrades; not that it has worked ever.

ROFL! That was exactly how I felt going from .40 to .53.

Just out of curiousity are we going to see this mythical 5.0 official release within our lifetime?

After upgrade, my browser settings went back to default so i went back and unchecked "use background images" and set my "image quality" back to low and is now back to same speed in not faster.

I noticed the opposite. .57 makes my Tour run warm. .40 was almost never warm for me.
