The hybrid includes some parts of later operating systems that hopefully work better than their conterpart on the base operating system (230 in this case). You put the base 230 OS on your computer, than run the hybrid exe file which replaces some of the base files. Then you install the 230 OS, which now really is a composite of the 230 and hybrid files. When you're done, the options/about menu will actually show a newer OS than 230. Hope this helps.
