So what's the differences between 230 and the verizon stock OS. I'm at work and can't really search right now. All I really know is SMS threaded. Can someone tell me what else has changed. Thanks

@sebby86: I think if you go into the OS/Beta Subtopic, they listed a section of what ones do work and don't. Check over there, but I mainly use FB, GTalk, AIM and Google maps and they all work.
V7.6 Hybrid - waiting for 7.7, but I gotta say 7.6 is real nice. Speedy and no problems at all.

definitely check the app compatibility thread, but for me, OCS2005, Viigo and Vlingo didn't run properly on 5.0. Looks like the OCS version just came out today, and viigo and vlingo say 5.0 compatibility is coming soon.
Thanks. But besides 3rd party apps what else is good about this OS. Like is all I'm gonna notice on my phone is sms threaded messages? Like is the browser the same? The themes ect

i'm running 4.7.1.57...like to run something else..just don't know how to install a new OS...and really don't wanna mess my tour up...still learning bout bb tour
I was running various 5.0 hybrids but did not want to deal with some of my favorite apps (Vlingo, Pandora) not working. I could live without treaded SMS until the official 5.0 comes out (my guess is 12/09)
Wasn't Pandora updated to work with 5.0?
To the OP: I'm running 5.0.0.230. After getting the Reload Software 552 twice in a month I switched and it's working great. 4.7 is trash, and if I were you I'd switch. I'ts only a matter of time before you get it too.
And as far as I know there aren't many apps that don't work on 5.0, but I'm sure there's a thread somewhere that lists the few that don't.
