    I believe you also have to be with the company for a few months before they'll give you the unlock codes. I don't think you can just sign up for new service and request unlock codes the very next day.

    I just called into VZW and pre-ordered my Tour over the phone. Guess I can wait until I get it Tuesday the 14th to see if it is unlocked or not.

    I paid $149 with free shipping. Only 10 months into my 24 month contract! I love corporate pricing!
