I just figured I would run desktop manager for the **** of it to see if Verizon may have released any updates while i was away for the weekend and it turns out 4.7.1.57 is now officially released for us. Maybe this is old news but I havent seen it posted anywhere. Its not 5.0 but at least its something....

Strange, I guess I had downloaded a leaked sprint os a while back but it never showed up before, it was .57. But now maybe its just randomly appearing there, i never messed with it at all though.

Sprint is the only one that i know of that has the offical .57 for the Tour. You can load it on your Verizon phone but you will have to delete the vendor file.

Damn, guess i got my hopes up for nothing. Still doesnt make sense to me that it all of the sudden appears when i start up desktop manager, oh well.

have you installed .57 on your phone? DM will show your current OS along with the recommended OS when you go to update through the menu
