Ever since i upgraded my phone to 5.0 it seems at least one time per conversation my calls drop and i lose the person on the other end. I use my data/email/text/web far more than i use my phone as a phone, but it's slightly frustrating when in fact i do actually need to use it is is completely unreliable.

My question is has anyone else noticed that the phone actually drops far more calls with the new 5.0 upgrade than before?

My apologies if this was posted already about 5.0 but i only saw really old posts about dropped calls.

i had that problem then i realized i forgot to do the prl update (*228) and option 2. see if that works for you

Are you talking to people on at&t? I havent had any issues with dropped calls and been on 5.0 for about 5 months.

I've had my calls improve since the upgrade. Try the solution kimo suggested.

No problems with dropped calls. My call clarity might even be a little better with 5.0.
