Unlocked BB Tour still says on Verizon

I unlocked a Verizon BB Tour and followed the steps posted in previous threads about how to set up internet and MMS. Everything went through successfully, but now it says my provider is Verizon so I'm unable to connect. I have a Blackberry data plan already set up with AT&T. Help??

Okay, so now I followed this thread and did a battery pull and now it says it is on AT&T. However, edge is not EDGE. Next step?

First update the service book.
also, you can get into the CDMA settings by dialing ##000000 where you can edit the phone number from the old CDMA phone number to the one of your SIM card that you are using.
