I have a verizon tour 9630. I purchased it from the second hand market in India.


I notice that the GPS does not work. When i go to status and type test and test the gps it comes out as test failed.

Do you think the GPS is locked? If yes, how much will you charge to give me a unlock code for that?

HI guys, I have kinda like the same problem stated before, my brother brought me a 9630 Tour from US, but when I tried to insert the sim, I get an error saying �device is locked�, is stating aswell that an incorrect password has been prompted twice already, so the is 8 more attempts to input the code...

My question is, how do I get the code to unlock the device for free?? Can I also unlock it using the IMEI number?

Also if there is any help the carrier was Verizon, and the phone is a BB 9630 Tour, if any help can be given I will really appreciate it.

Wrong thing to do, no one gives anything for free, you can purchase an unlock code for less then a dollar on eBay, why make yourself vulnerable to scammers?

If you already have the IMEI / MEP unlock code for your Blackberry Tour 9630 you can read the Blackberry tour 9630 unlocking instructions to get your Blackberry unlocked.

You will also need to unlock the CDMA settings screen on your Blackberry to edit the phone number.. on Verizon devices you can dial ##000000 and change the number but for Sprint, you will need the 000000 replaced with the MEID unlock code to open the CDMA settings screen.
