I'm sure this is a newbie question and I am sure that it is probably answered on some other part of the site, but I have no idea how I would even go about finding the answer to this question.

Basically I need to know how to type in a call. Say I want to make a call to 1800-Flowers. How do I get the number keys to correspond with the letters? Or even when I am in a call, and in an automated directory and need to search for a person by typing out the first few letters of their name....How do I do it?

I forgot to mention that you have to hit 'alt' in order to type the letters.
