In my files "database" on my phone, I noticed two different files: "net_rim_bbgroup_etc etc" and "net_rim_bb_qm_peer_etc etc". for the "net_rim_bbgroup" files, there are duplicates. Can anyone describe these two in detail for me? Are they harmful/dangerous/stealing personal information of any kind?? Thanks in advance!

Those are your BB Messenger files. There are a total of 12 files. BBM is one of the coolest features of having a BB.

I have 40 of those actually, along with 12 bb_appworld files, and on top of all this, the "bbgroup" and "qm_peer" files. Are these ALL safe??

I know what it is. You have all the language files still on your BB. Most of the duplicates are followed by _de and _sp and _GB? The only way I know to get rid of foreign language support is to reload your OS. Maybe someone can comment on how to take them off your BB directly?
