i know this isn't a terribly pressing issue, but i was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to turn off the automatic emoticons, so that instead of showing the smiley graphic it just shows something like : (or : (. it only started after i updated to OS 5.0.0.591. for some reason the actual yellow faces annoy me, but i haven't been able to find any settings that permit this change. it's probably not likely but i figured i'd give it a shot. thanks!
