trying to call my local store

i'm at work right now and trying to assess whether or not my local store is creating a list for reserves..to no avail.
i dialed the number and pressed 2 for sales, and tried 3 times already and it seems as though they don't want to pick up/not there to answer questions.
it is around lunch time though..regardless is anyone having luck calling local stores and actually talking to a human being? i never tried before.

(sorry if this is a slightly boring topic, i just don't have much to do except kill time till this is released.)

the only positive thing i can think of is that i live in a VERY densely populated area (long island, NY) and there SHOULD be enough stock.

Just called my corp store and they said they have gotten there shipments already for the week an NO tours. I was told to call back next Thurs..

this is looking grim.. i'm getting the tour for 149.99 + tax after MIR.. and want it soon. it's depressing because i already called in to attempt to upgrade early and have it shipped out, but the 'glitch' was in effect. (that was 2 days ago)

My local vzw store (Richmond, VA) said they're getting 50(!) Sunday and they reserved one for me!!!!

Plus, they finally let me play with the Dummy Phone after half hour of talking to them about the Tour. It's smaller than I expected and, like everyone else says, about the same size as the storm.

No guts so couldn't really "feel" it in comparison to the Storm's weight, though the specs put it a bit under.

I have large hands and haven't had a full qwerty keyboard BB before and found the keyboard to be pretty small. I'm going to have to adjust to it and see if i can handle (pun intended) it for a month or not. I can always return it and keep Stormin' along...

Yeah one of my stores said they didn't have them but I'm not worried about it. I've got 8 verizon wireless stores and 3 bestbuys within 10 minutes of each other. But I doubt they'll sell out down where I am so I'm a just sit tight.

this is only getting worse.. i see a lot of upstate people commenting on the amount they have..but none on the island/boroughs.. which, you'd think would be opposite.
gonna try once more before i say @#$% it and just stop stressing out.
i just don't know if my voyagers going to last through to sunday, hahah.
