have all contacts in my contacts, run google sync with all the correct settings, takes nearly four minutes to complete yet no contacts show up. please help i dont want to waste my $10 at verizon when the answer is so close.
Try syncing just your contacts in case the calendar is making the sync fail. I was having trouble with the sync at first two but eventually got it. My calendar was the issue (long story which isn't worth going into). Also, try signout and then sign back in; make sure you are using the proper google account.
Try the Google help forums.. there's one for wireless devices and, maybe, one specifically for Google Sync. I found some really knowledgeable people there. Eventually got the Sync working and after working on it for almost a full day.
Simply as a diagnostic measure, create a dummy Google account and add some contacts there. Then try your sync with the dummy account. I had to do this when I was troubleshooting the calendar sync.
SUCCESS. ive been going from palm to google to tour and i used a new program(companion link) for my palm to goole part. and everything worked well. thanks for all the help everyone.
I have to go from Treo 755P to Google to Tour myself, and sync calendar, contacts, and memos.
I have to do that Sunday or Monday so I'd appreciate the help.
