does anyone know of a way to remove the 160 character limit on SMS for sprint phones...i did it with my curve but i tried doing it the same way with the tour but it doesnt take the code?!?!

How did you do it on your curve? I know there are third party apps that do this, beyond160 seeming to be the most recomended on here.

Yup, you'll have to download Beyond160. The 160 limit is for CDMA networks...I'm using my Tour on a GSM network so I can send more than 160...

I was wondering, Cause my sis has the 8900 and it can send up to six pages and then I was so excited to boot up my tour after my 8330 and it still can only send 160, kinda a pain in my rear.

there was an app i was using before, but then i used beyond160 and it was working great...i hate the whole having to start a new text to finish what i was saying...
