Default Tour was unlocked for AT&T but now..? Help

Anyway I got my Tour unlocked for my GF to use for AT&T because her crap iPhone broke. All was well until she attempted to set up email and then AT&T supposedly deleted a file or something off the phone causing it to lose MMS and EDGE. Any ideas? Fixes?

Did you manually load the Service Books?

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?

Did you input the APN correctly?

Paid $10 to a company to unlock the phone. Then ran through the steps to switch to AT&T. Didn't tell AT&T or anything. Definitely don't have a BB data plan.

It was working perfectly with Edge and MMS and everything, and then she went to setup Voicemail and it screwed up EDGE and MMS.

You most likely lost the Service Books when that occurred.

You need a BlackBerry Data Plan in order to have EDGE and MMS.

Found out she did have a BB Data plan with AT&T. And it still kicked her off EDGE and MMS capabilities. I also just found out that she has ZERO data service. The only thing she can do is phone and SMS.

Did you click on the link above and manually load the Service Books?

You have to do that because AT&T doesn't sell that device.

And did you try loading it again after that?

Good call. Will try. Was just wondering if there was an easier way initially.

I agree it's a service book issue as it seems to me because AT&T are connecting you a data plan automatically when you use services so call them first see what's up, then update the service book.
