    I currently have a iPhone 3g and need to make sure the tour in it's unlocked state, will work on AT&Ts 3g network. Thanks for the help. I believe the one I'm looking at is a sprint version. Thanks guys

    no, it won't work on 3g in the usa. EDGE only. I have an ATT SIM in my Tour and I can confirm this.

    If you want to take advantage of ATTs 3G speeds, yes id suggest the Bold, without a doubt.

    That's right. It's because the GSM networks here use a different frequency than overseas. If you were to go to Europe, an unlocked Tour would do 3G just fine. Here in the states, you're stuck with EDGE.
