Not a Verizon store but at Best Buy Mobile I was informed by phone that my pre-sale was going to be $149 out the door! They even called to let me know that it was in stock this morning and what the price was.....and even said they would match some accessories. Wow, what service.

Not likely at all, but if it does happen, I'm going to call Verizon and not leave them alone until they give me back the price difference.

Umm whomever gave you that info is a moron. There is no way that an unreleased phone has a price drop so soon after its released. Please tell me that you didn't believe this...lol

Well if Best Buy can sell it at $99 or $149.99 why is a price drop impossible?

Well after reading this I went to my Best Buy (Elkridge, MD) and even though I pre ordered I reserved a Tour for pick-up tomorrow 12 July for 149.99. This is a savings of $20 for me. And I can use any Reward Zone coupons when I pick it at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow.
The sales associated also said if you are a NEW VZW customer, the price out the door is $99.00. NOT BAD!
The Elkridge, MD Best buy has 8 tours in stock and 2 are reserved one being mine. 6 remaining!
