Tour is locked up on restart after a battery pull

My tour was acting up on me yesterday, so I did a battery pull. On the restart, the progress bar makes it to about 70% and locks up. I left it this way for several hours with no change. I am plugged into my PC right now, and of course the BB desktop doesnt recognize the phone.

Any advice on a fix? Is this going to be a trip to the VZ store to correct? My contract is up so they will probably try to push me to a new phone.

Take the battery out for 15-20 minutes and see what happens when you put it back in.

I left the battery out all night, popped it back in at 5am today. Its still locked up 3 hours later. I think its fried.....

Not sure if this will work in your situation but can give it a try. Hope you backed it up lately as you'll probably lose everything except what is on your sd card.
