I just got my Tour today and its confusing me a little. I set up all my sound profiles. However, sometimes the phone goes into vibrate, sometimes it makes the noises. Any reason for this? I keep it on loud (active) and it still seems to go into vibrate
Are you inadvertently pressing and holding the "Q" button? That's a shortcut for Vibrate Mode.

No, I saw that was the shortcut. So when the phone does go back into vibrate-- usually when i lay the phone down-- I'll pres the "Q" and it goes back into the sound mode. Strange...
Just in case anyone else as this issue, I have solved my problem:
On the tour, for BBM messaging, you must change the sound profiles for Level 1, PIN, and BBM (found under the Instant Messaging). If you don't change them all to be the same, you will run into this issue
