I have read on here other phones have issues with how it handles .gif files. I have a few on my sd card from the days of the treo pro and they work just fine on the blackberry tour. However when i receive them in mms or email on the phone they don't work. If I save them to sd card they save as jpeg and not gif. What am I doing wrong or or they just not supported on the blackberry tour?

Hmm, when you view them on a webpage, you should be able to see them. They have worked fine for me but idk about mms or email. I've never tried.

Your OP didn't say anything about animated GIFs and then half-way through the discussion that was brought up.

Are you asking about regular GIFs or animated GIFs?
