Tour..any good or is there a better non touch screen
Okay so last attempt..it was my first at a blackberry was a storm 1
Having used it I realised it was a dog and sold it quick
But even at the time I thought blackberry is not the issue the storm was so I used an old back up phone till now
I know I could get on with a key pad rather than any storm so which blackberry with standard keys is best?
I had thought of a tour and it seems okay but most of the key type are okay..are there any better ones than another and on those are there some with faults worse than others - 11-10-2009, 01:25 PM #2
Choose your network first. If it's AT&T, I would wait for the Bold 2. If Verizon, the Tour.

I have the Bold 9000 and am not interested in changing for anything on the horizon today. Nice keyboard. Good overall functions and size.

9700 is the way to go if you don't have a carrier restriction.

I bought the Storm on launch day. I read multiple reviews on the Tour, and then I went to the VZW store to check it out. First thing that caught my eye was the resolution. It was awesome compared to the Storm. I would recommend the Tour by far. I hope that helps!

Go with the Tour on Verizon. You won't be disappointed!

I went from a Treo > Pearl > Curve > Tour. Wife went Treo > Pearl > Storm > Storm 2. I think I've played with all of them enough to be fair.
I think the Storm running 5.0.0.328 is running extremely smooth. Trim out a lot of the excess junk and it runs pretty well.
Storm2 my wife has now and I'm somewhat jealous. It is all in all a very nice Blackberry.
Tour is a good phone but I'm not happy that a Tour2 is right on it's heels coming. - 11-10-2009, 04:07 PM #14
I'm on my 5th Tour and none of the problems were owner-oriented.
