Third Party Not Selling Tour Anymore?
I've had my Tour 3 weeks and love it and love to brag about it. One of the girls who work for me liked my Tour and went to a kiosk retailer in the mall to buy her very own Tour (first Blackberry) and the retailer said that they were no longer selling the Tour due to the high number of returns...they told her this was per Verizon...I advised her to go to the corporate store.
But what is up with this kiosk retailer? I went through a number of storms and knew many who did as well...but this Tour is great and those I know who have it are on their first as well! I find it hard to believe the Tour had a higher return rate than the storm this far out from launch!

There is likely a reason that person works in a kiosk and not a corporate store.

I tried to remember my mobile device history and realized I have had way too many to remember them all. - 09-10-2009, 09:03 PM #3

I would not purchase a $400 phone from a kiosk. Head to a Best Buy or a Verizon store, they will NEVER tell you "Sorry, can't sell you a new phone with a contract".
Present: iPhone 4, 9700 Bold, PlayBook
Priors: Curve 8700, Flip 8220, Curve 8900, Tour 9630, iPhone 3GS.
Logical reasoning beats ignorance.
I'd agree with you but then I'd be wrong.

+1 I ordered a tour from walmart online store when I could get it free and started reading into it a little deeper and decided that I didn't wanna deal with anyone other than the actual Verizon store in case something were to happen
