Any word on what os the telus version will ship with? Is it speculated to be the same as the vzw version?

VZW and Telus will use the same firmware.

yes and no..

Verizon usually seems to be pretty on top of testing devices etc..

but so are other carriers..



keep in mind that carriers have these devices in there possession for testing longer then we think..

we just see how long OS upgrades take because we get leaked versions early and then wait for verizon to approve it..

keep in mind these OS' are constantly getting submitted to verizon and other cell companys over the time of having a phone..

that the device was also released as 2 different models..

It's up to the carrier on when they want an OS to get released. Telus could release a 4.7.1 build, while Verizon releases a 5.0 build. It's just up to the carrier.
