So basically my friend gave me his tour and his provider was At&t regardless of the tour being under Sprint. I go in an put in my sim card it works im texting and making calls the only thing i cant use is the internet which im fine with. around 5 hours of being able to use my blackberry tour with an At&t sim card it finally stops sending text, i see on the top right corner that it says 1xev instead of it saying At&t how it did earlier when i was able to use it. My question is how can i get it back so it can say At&t on the right corner,... I wouldn't appreciate it if you guys said that it cant work because its an At&t sim card when i was clearly on it for a good 5 hours atleadt before it went to 1xev, any help is wanted thanks

This post mentions the Storm, but it is also applicable to the Tour on AT&T. You will need to manually add the service books, since those service books are not available from AT&T, which never sold that device.
